GENERAL CONDITIONS:

BASIC WORK DESCRIPTION: The projects are 7 concrete apartment buildings, 185 apartments in total, and the work of the Plumber is basically this: Installation of heating water. We use black pipes for hot water installations. Water is both heated by electricity and in Egilsstaðir there is hot water from the ground. Installation of water pipes for usage, in Galvanised and Alu-pex and plastic. Installation of drain and waste water pipes (plastic), and installation of bathrooms and kitchen sinks. All general plumbing work related to new apartment buildings. Being able to read and understand drawings is necessary.


PAINTER ETC

BASIC WORK DESCRIPTION: The projects are 7 concrete apartment buildings, 185 apartments in total, and the work of the Plasterer/Painter is basically this: Mounting Gips walls, plastering the walls, and painting them. Also, all other paint and plastering work related to the construction of the apartment buildings. Any extra experience in laying tiles or parquet, mounting interiors such as kitchens and cupboards would be nice. The painter has to be willing and able to do other construction work on days when there are no gips or paint jobs.



MASON-PLASTERER

BASIC WORK DESCRIPTION: The projects are 7 concrete apartment buildings, 185 apartments in total, and the work of the mason is basically this: Levelling floors, both when laying the concrete and afterwards. Stoning the houses, finishing of concrete walls, ceilings, floors, laying tiles and all other general work related.

CARPENTER

BASIC WORK DESCRIPTION: The projects are 7 concrete apartment buildings, 185 apartments in total, and the work of the Carpenter is basically this: General construction work, structural work on concrete building using formworks, ability to read and understand drawings, installation of windows, roofing, putting up gips walls, installation of doors, kitchens and cupboards, laying floor materials such as parquet. The carpenter is a key employee, being able to do most of the construction work.
