1. University Degree in Chemistry / Pharmacy or related field
2. Good knowledge of the English Language
3. Previous work experience not a prerequisite but candidates with work experience in testing/analysis of raw materials, semi-finished or finished products will be preferred (Pharmaceutical raw materials or products)
4. Computer skills
5. Team spirit.

Job description:
Quality Control is the part of Good Manufacturing Practice which is concerned with sampling, specifications and testing as well as organization, documentation and release procedures which ensure that the necessary and relevant tests are carried out and that materials are not released for use, nor products released for sale or supply until their quality has been judged to be satisfactory.

Duties and Responsibilities.
1. To test/analyse starting materials, semi-finished, finished and packaging materials.
2. to carry out stability tests related to storage conditions and shelf-life specifications
3. to follow control procedures and specifications exactly
4. to follow regulations on safety, cleanliness, personal hygiene and tidiness
5. to maintain the testing equipment and laboratory environment in good working order
6. to keep up to date records and in good conditions
7. to report in writing the results of every test performed, including observations and calculations
8. to participate in meetings to discuss matters relevant to Q.C. Department
9. To work in a team of analysts and assistants

All staff must take part in an induction/orientation process or initial training plus any ongoing future or refresher training, as necessary. Also is required to participate in any performance appraisal system in operation or introduced within the company.

Terms and Conditions of Employment
5 days Week
38 hours per week
Medical Insurance paid by the Employer
13th and 14th Salary offered
20 days annual leave.
16 days public holidays
Remuneration:
Gross salary between CYP 8600 – CYP 14000 per year, according to qualifications.
( i.e. EUR 14600-23800 per year according to qualifications)
Accommodation not included.
